I finally got a new film camera! She's a beaut! The Nikon FE2. I wanted it mostly because it has an option for double exposures. It's pretty exciting to be able to do double exposures without a range finder and with manual control. I was kind of getting frustrated with the unpredictability especially in framing of Holgas. I hadn't really taken any photos for almost a year since my 35mm Holga and Canon AT1 died tragic deaths. I'd forgotten the feeling of swamping my blog with photography ... but I'm into it.
The last shots from my 35mm Holga camera before it met it's brutal end in my block backpack. Even though they look tough, Holga's are not indestructible apparently.
Here are some photos of when me and Michelle went to an abandoned park in Sitges, a suburb of Barcelona, and I painted a mural. Some park exploration was obviously also in order. I got Michelle Yarham to take the photos of me. I must have been feeling a little narcissistic that day.
I finally scanned a couple of old Holga rolls from my now dead 35mm Holga. The onslaught of posts starts here.
These two sets of photos taken in Barcelona have in common uncanny freak alignment of certain visual elements. Very exciting. See the montages to understand.
This is an art blog where I post my artistic endeavors as I travel, tree plant and try and find a place to grow some roots so I can finally get a shoulder cat. You will find a mix of street art, drawing, painting, photography, screen printing, 3D works, video and some journalism.
