Plant Together//Die Together - Stop Motion Animation

Here is the accompanying stop motion animation to my diorama in the previous post.

It is meant to be watched on this adorable little television box:

I also made this even more adorable TV box for my diorama from a couple of years ago, ''It's a Big Thing''.

In Progress...

This winter I've been very slowly working on the first in a series of miniature diorama type scenes with figures that can be stop motion animated for my thesis project. The brief description is that it is an embellished surreal-like depiction of this one time at at tree planting camp. This is all I have to show for myself so far:

Clown Troll

X-Mas Troll

Naked Troll

Troll Troll

Turd Burglar Troll

Goth Troll

Roller Bladder with Dog

It's a Big Thing - Macquette

My final project last semester was my first attempt at 3D minatures since the tipi and longhouse I made in Grade 5. It's the 3D version of this drawing. It's meant to be seen in the dark - it has LEDs in the background and in the little lamps. I also made an experimental short stop motion animation using the set and figures (see below).

¡Panic!

I'd been wanting to try free hand spray painting for a long time, so when I heard about this abandoned water park near Barcelona and came up with a really simple idea at the same time, I jumped on it. Free hand is hard. I would need a lot of practice to get any good at it. Paint brushes are looking pretty good about now. I was too embarrassed to take any close up pictures but in retrospect I regret it now.
